Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke was born March 22, 1989, in Newport Beach California United States. Stokke is one of the wealthiest and well-known Pole vaulters. She became a pole jumper in 2007 following a photo of her from an event at the age of 17. Instagram and Twitter are her most popular social media sites. Stokke is a well-known track and fields athlete, similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. The Los Angeles Times, among other newspapers, reported that Stokke has not aspired to or sought the kind of publicity. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society, linked Stokke's situation to American soccer athletes Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. Both were accused of being sexualized and their image on the internet was depicted in a way that the authors claimed to diminish the athletic achievements. Regarding Stokke they also noted the fact that online comments were frequently insulting in nature and blamed the sexualization process to the women. Others women made a connection to Brandi's celebration of her sports bra following her win at the FIFA Women's World Cup back in 1999. The women claimed that debates on appearance overshadowed sporting moments specifically for female athletes. Images of Stokke performing during New York early 2007, were published on the internet by the Californian journalist for a track and field website. With Leather, an online sports publication with a lot of male fans commented on the attractiveness of Stokke during the month of May. The article was titled Pole Vaulting: Sexy and Very Legal. Matt Ufford, the owner of the website which the photo was published on and threatened with a lawsuit from the photographer in the event that the photo was not removed. However the article received a lot of attention from various websites as did the photo. Stokke was able to create a website that was dedicated to her and featured images of her at the pole vault. The photos were shared on social media, they drew many thousands of people. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. Caron wanted to finish her high school education in Florida. After completing her graduation in 1974, she decided to approach her career in a different way through her internship. Alyce's proud of being the sister of a college professor. Family members are supportive of her sister, who is an academic at a university. Alyce lives with her family in Texas as her father works for The U.S. Army. They were celebrating the 92nd birthday celebration of their father just three years ago. Alyce posted a photo of her beautiful daughter on social media, recognizing his contributions to the U.S. Army. Alyce's daughter is also more concerned with her education. She was awarded the National Merit Scholarship at Washington University and also celebrated her 22nd birthday in 2022.
